Alexander Žic Interview

After spending five days or so drinking Karlovačko and hanging out with friends and family, I thought, what a perfect way to start the work week than with an interview with fellow 'Prva Generacija' member Alexander Žic.

Update from Zagreb

The final question that I asked Alex is a little hint about previously mentioned 'greatest news ever for CroatianSoccerReport.com.' With this said, let's not get our hopes up or jinx(Ante) anything. As of right now, I am looking in to what it would take to host a Dinamo Zagreb, Hajduk Split and ultimately Croatia for a friendly match in the United States. I won't mention anything more about this until I have further details. Also, I am not allowed to mention any details or names. I feel like I am communicating with the Sicilian mafia. Stay tuned.

Hajduk Vs. Dinamo in the US would be something incredible. As fans, we would just have to make sure that we control ourselves and not let our emotions get out of hand.

As for a venue suggestion, Red Bull Arena in NJ is going to be completed either this year or next year. It'll hold around 30,000 fans.

Stick with this guys. If you have come this far, you can't stop now!

they should host the game in chicago. it's centrally located, and easy to get to for croats from east coast, midwest, west coast and canada.

Karlovacko is way better than Ojusko. My relatives in Zagreb were not too happy about my tastes.

Where are they now?

Has Milan Rapaic officially hung up his boots? Last I heard he was playing in Croatia for second tier club Trogir.

Anyone?

Hajduk vs Dinamo in the US?! F-off. Are you serious? Great idea and I hope it comes to fruition. It will be about 15 BBB against 15,000 Torcida :))))

I still think the BBB will be louder.

@Ivica,

thanks for the vote of confidence and suggestion.

@Boris

Chicago will be looked at for sure

@Tom

No clue on Rapajic..

I will jot this down in my notes. You will get an answer soon..

@Ante BBB

Hajduk vs Dinamo is almost impossible... not enough interest in the states for such a big match.. Our only hope is one of these 'mickey mouse' organizations..
