Here's something for you all to ponder until we figure out where Srna will be playing next year.
Check out PSV Eindhoven's new away kit for the next two seasons. If it looks familiar, it's because Croatia wore these exact uniforms (in blue of course) during the 2006 World Cup and qualifying. These kits are also being tailored by Nike.
So what's the deal Nike?!
I know the world economy is suffering right now, but reusing original designs for club teams: C'mon!
I'm actually a bit flattered but the red and white checkers do have significance to the city of Eindhoven as the Brabant region's flag is completely covered in red and white checkers just like the Croatian 'grb'.
So what do you guys think?
Thanks to Oliver for breaking this news!

I always wanted a black away kit. Just make the shorts black and we are in business.
I didnt know PSV had an asian player on the team. jersey looks good tho.
Croatia will never have a kit besides the checkers and solid blue w/ checker trim. We're too set on tradition. But would Croatia ever gesture for a 3rd kit at any time?
What would you like to see there? But I like your all black idea with checker trim.
How about putting up a poll about whether or not Croatia will finish second in their group for world cup qulaifiers? It's getting pretty hairy and this may become one of the tough times in Cro football history.
I personally don't mind the tradition of the checkers and the solid blue with checker trim but a third kit would be interesting...
jep, a third uniform would be cool. Something mainly red. Like the National Handball Team, The Pakleni.
imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

The PSV kit is slick...and who says we have to blue in the uniform? The Grb is red & white- the blue is just a backdrop on the flag (After all, probably half of all flags on the planet have some combination of red, white, and blue). So long as the Grb is represented, it shouldn't be a problem. The only thing with black is that in Croatia it contains certain negative (my word) connotations...
