POSSIBLE NEW CROATIA KITS?

footballshirtculture.com

We all know that Nike and the HNS are due to put out a new home and away kit for EURO 2012 qualifying. There have been rumors that the new kits would contain elements of gold, which we clearly see here in these depictions. Although this may just be an amateur design, I could definitely picture our boys running around in these threads.

What say you, Prva Generacija members?

Designed by Menoia?

It could very well be an amateur rendering as well as the real thing. You can flip a coin.

If it's real, we've learned that we really can't get away from this checker design. I know it's our staple and everything and that you can spot us from a mile away, but we can't do something just a bit different. My vote was for the shadow checkers waving like in the 98 jersey. I kind of like the blue already.

Where's that third kit though? I think it's time to experiment.

Yes this is a little fishy. Great post nevertheless. I was never a big fan of Nike soccer. WE haven't done much with Nike since jumping over from Lotto.

Does anyone know how long our contract is with NIKE?

I'm still waiting to see how Adidas does with the checkers. Puma is either hit or miss.

Nike just looks so cheap.

Love em both!

I like the different designs on the primary/secondary shorts.

Always wondered when they would go to the checkered socks!

There is no need for a 3rd kit in the International game. a) Not enough games. b) Identity c) Would the country support a 3rd color scheme that is not directly tied to the national colors? There's a poll question for you, Ante. Keep up the great work.

I like the away jersey. The home kit is pretty much the same. I wouldn't mind if we went back to the 98 design as well.

I think we need way more checkers on it. I propose using a 1/4" squares, means more checkers. When they hell are they drop nike and get adidas or puma to do their kit, like civilized countries? My hardcore Croatian friends, Agent-Brazil and Agent Tutu were saying we should put a slogan on the shirts somewhere, something like "Ordem and Progresso" or "Jebote!"

...Also, Why not simplify it, for a stint at least, like hajduks home jersey. Maybe all white , with checked numbers. The '98 jerseys sucked. No need for collars on jerseys, were they planning on going out for dinner right after the game? It was good for the fancy boys because then they could pop them up. Nike has to go.

This guy is still in the mix. He should be with Tottenham come summertime.

I know Spurs need a better goalie, but I am not sure why they would go after Pletikosa. He continues to get benched at every club he plays for...

As for the jerseys....take a look at the handball team's adidad jerseys....that is probably a good idea what the soccer jersey would like if designed by adidas

Aren't Spurs signing Begovic from Portsmouth? That'd make Pletikosa third choice. That Pletikosa deal is prob dead.

Lets face it were only gonna be checking if Ibricic goes or who Leko transfers to on transfer deadline and that's basically it.

loving the away kit on there

The away jersey looks much like our euro 96 home jerseys actually. Would anyone like to go back to the 96 jersey? i reckon it wouldn't be too bad.

Could you give us a link to the Croatian handball jersey?
